Dear students who registered for English medium departments in the 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Term,
To be exempted from English Preparatory School, you need to enter the placement and proficiency exams. Please see the details below.
THE PLACEMENT EXAM
The Placement Exam will be held at Uskudar University Altunizade Campus, face-to-face in the classrooms of the Üsküdar University Coordinatorship of Foreign Languages English Preparatory School.
Date: 18th February 2026, Wednesday (Exam starts at 09:00 and finishes at 09:45)
Exam location: C Block Class: 108
The Placement Exam is obligatory for all newly registered students.
*Students who will take the exam must be in their assigned classroom at 08:30 and have their student ID card, a pencil, an eraser, and a sharpener with them.
If a student does not have a Student ID card, he/she must go to the Student Affairs Office on the ground floor of A Block and get a copy of their student registration letter.
Note: The Placement Test is done to determine your current level of English and to put you into the correct classrooms. It is NOT an achievement test.

NOTE: Students who do not take the Placement Exam can NOT take the Proficiency Exam. The Proficiency Exam will be held on 19 February 2026. Students who take the Placement Exam will be informed on our website whether they can take the Proficiency Exam based on their results.

SEVİYE BELİRLEME SINAVI
Seviye Belirleme sınavı Üsküdar Üniversitesi Altunizade Kampusü’nde YÜZ YÜZE Yabancı Diller Koordinatörlüğü İngilizce Hazırlık Okulu dersliklerinde yapılacaktır.
Tarih: 18 Şubat 2026 Çarşamba günü (Sınav 09:00’da başlar ve 09:45’de son bulur)
Sınav yeri: C Blok 105 no’lu sınıf
Yeni kayıt olan tüm öğrencilerin Seviye Belirleme Sınavına girmesi zorunludur.
*Öğrenci kimlik kartınız yoksa, A Blok zemin kattaki Öğrenci İşleri Ofisine gitmeli ve öğrenci kayıt belgenizin bir kopyasını almalısınız.
Not: Seviye Tespit Sınavı, sizi doğru sınıflara yerleştirebilmek için mevcut İngilizce seviyenizi belirlemek amacıyla yapılır. Bu bir başarı testi DEĞİLDİR.
