Speaking Club

The Speaking Club serves as a dynamic platform for students to enhance their oral communication skills. This club Activities include:

  • Discussion Sessions: Students engage in conversations on various topics, improving fluency and confidence. On our discussion day, we focused on the important topics of empathy and kindness. We highlighted how empathy helps people understand each other better and also extends to our relationships with animals, showing its relevance across different species. Furthermore, we discussed the role of kindness in building positive relationships and fostering a supportive community, emphasizing how these values are essential in our daily interactions.
  • The Culture Day of Somalia is scheduled for February 29, 2024, at Üsküdar University. The main objective of this event is to promote cultural awareness and understanding among students. This will be achieved through:
    • Interactive Dialogue: Engaging students in discussions that highlight the richness of Somali culture.
    • Cultural Engagement: Providing opportunities for students to experience Somali traditions and language firsthand.
    • Educational Activities: Organizing activities that encourage participation and learning about Somali heritage.

This event aims to create a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and foster connections among students through shared experiences and knowledge. It will serve as a platform for students to explore and celebrate Somali culture, enhancing their understanding of global cultures.

  • Guest Speakers: Inviting professionals from diverse fields to share insights and experiences.

Participation in the Speaking Club not only develops students' speaking abilities but also fosters teamwork and leadership skills.

The Debate Days: Two different topics were discussed in B1 and B2 Levels.

Writing Club

The Writing Club is a vibrant community dedicated to refining students' writing skills through a variety of creative and academic writing activities. Key activities include:

  • Certificate Ceremony Of Cardif C1 Level Students

We are thrilled to announce the Certificate Ceremony for Cardiff C1 Level Students, celebrating the successful completion of the Discussion Day focused on Empathy, Brain Work, and Kindness. Organized by the C1 level instructors of the preparatory school, the event highlighted the importance of these themes in fostering a supportive and understanding community. During the ceremony, certificates of recognition were awarded to the outstanding speakers, honoring their invaluable contributions and engagement in promoting these essential values among their peers.
