Üsküdar University English Preparatory School brings together B1 and B2 level group students with experts in their fields. Within the scope of the ESP-English for Specific Purposes Program curriculum, it is aimed to better educate students by giving lessons and interviews with experts in the field from university faculty units and outside the institution.

ESP TRANSLATION - 06.12.2023
In scope of the ESP Extra Curricular Activities, Dr. Hümeyra Genç from the Translation and Interpreation department of Üsküdar University visited the Preparatory School as a guest lecturer. ESP students participated in her lecture titled "Translation and Culture." At the end of the session, students had a Q&A session with Dr. Hümeyra Genç and other students of the Translation Department.

As part of the ESP Psychology lesson, Coordinator of the English Preparatory School Dilek Batur conducted her lecture on Freud's structural model of the psyche and the interpretation of dreams.

Hüsnü Kerpiççi, Director of Research and Development from Koç Yaşa, visited Üsküdar University English Preparatory School to talk about the importance of language proficiency in the field of engineering. He shared his professional and personal experiences as an engineer and recruiter. Engineering students of the Preparatory School had a chance to get insight into their field.
