Dear Students,

Students who have studied in the 1st and 2nd modules of the 2025-2026 Academic Year at Üsküdar University Foreign Languages ​​Coordinatorship English Preparatory School B1 (Paddington) or B2 (Islington) levels and whose average grade is 85 or above are NOT required to participate in the Proficiency Exam.

Our students in this situation can take action accordingly in the 2nd semester.

a) They can start their departments as irregular students.

b) They can attend Preparatory School at C level. Our students who successfully complete the C level without any absences and by completing their projects will be given a C level Certificate. Students who start at C level and do not continue their Preparatory Education are B2 level graduates. They do not need to take the Proficiency Exam again.

c) They can freeze their education by contacting our finance department.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Koordinatörlüğü İngilizce Hazırlık Okulu B1 (Paddington) ya da B2 (Islington) seviyelerinde 2025-2026 Akademik yılı 1. ve 2. modüllerinde öğrenim görmüş ve not ortalaması 85 ve üzeri olan öğrencilerimizin Proficiency Sınavı’na katılım zorunluluğu yoktur.

Bu durumdaki öğrencilerimiz 2. dönemde

1. irregular öğrenci olarak bölümlerine başlayabilirler
2. C seviyesinde hazırlık okuluna devam edebilirler. C seviyesini devamsızlık yapmayarak ve projelerini tamamlayarak başarılı olan öğrencilerimiz C seviyesi sertifikası almaya hak kazanırlar. C seviyesine başlayıp devam etmeyen öğrenciler B2 seviyesiyle hazırlık eğitimlerini tamamlamış olurlar. Tekrar Proficiency Sınavı’na girmeleri gerekmemektedir.
3. Eğitimlerini finans departmanımızla görüşerek dondurabilirler.

Proficiency Exam:

Dear students,

Üsküdar University English Preparatory School 2025-2026 Academic Year Proficiency Exam will be held on 26.01.2026 at 09:00 in the Main Campus (Altunizade Üniversite Sokak No:14 Üsküdar / ISTANBUL). Students must bring their official student ID cards. Students should also have an official identification card or a passport to confirm their identity. They must bring a pencil, an eraser, and a sharpener with them. There is NO make-up for the Proficiency Exam.

The Proficiency Exam consists of 2 texts for the reading skill, 2 audio files for the listening skill (While Listening and Note-Taking), a writing, and a speaking part. The speaking part will be done on the same day, starting at 13:00. The questions of the reading and listening parts are multiple choice, and you must fill in the correct answers on an OPTIC SHEET given to you. Your Name – Surname and Student ID card number should be properly filled in on the optic sheet. The writing part will be done with a pencil and paper. There are options for writing topics. Students should choose ONLY ONE option and write accordingly. The speaking session will be held face-to-face in the classrooms.
